The Cellar
Angel's Estate is situated in close proximity to the Zhrebchevo (Stallion) Dam, on the hillsides of Sredna Gora. From that location we have derived the name of our most successful wine STALLION - symbol of the emergence of new life, full of energy and love.
Total floor area of the wine cellar: 14 000 sq.m of which 7 000 sq.m are underground. This facilitates fermentation by gravity. Angel's Estate has a processing capacity of 650 tonnes of grapes.
Hall for fermentation
Floor area of 3 000 sq.m with 88 fermentation tanks, of which
- 50 stainless-steel tanks (thermo insulated with a capacity of 7.8 t each)
- 15 French oak barrels, (thermo insulated with a capacity of 7 t each)
- 22 stainless-steel tanks (thermo insulated with a capacity of 8 t each, for white wine)
- One blending vessel (with a capacity of 30 t)
There are two cellars for aging of wine in 225-litre barrique wine barrels with a capacity of 1 400 barriques, plus 420 barriques on two temperature-controlled levels.
